As Primary Care Physicians of the musculoskeletal system, one of our specialties is nutrigenomics and immunology. The consumption of nutrients and their interaction, reaction, and affect upon genes (genetic expression), cells, and the regeneration process of the body.
Our big rock pillars and those nutrients that we guide and coach you in are nutrition (food consumption), sleep (circadian rhythm), daily exercise (functional movement and sweat), daily outdoor time and their profound impact upon the immune system’s regeneration processes. It’s essential that the body is able to properly handle and be tested by stress in order to adapt. Inability to control stress and inflammation leads to strain throughout the systems of the body and the manifestation of a diseased process.
SLEEP
• Circadian Rhythm. Melatonin produced from serotonin allowing you to
sleep naturally.
• Get as much sleep as possible before midnight. Wake up early to sunlight and get into sunlight as early as possible.
• Cut screen time 1-2 hours before bed time (phone, ipad, TV). Use blue
light protective glasses, screens, protection mode.
NUTRITION
• Protein/Fat: Ketosis shifted diet for a great source of longstanding fuel.
Grass fed meats for enzymatic function and DNA methylation.
• Intermittent fasting.
• Vitamin B9/Folate: Leafy greens (spinach, kale, lettuces, iceberg, brussel
sprouts, broccoli, asparagus, organ meats, grass fed meat). Function:
RBC & WBC development, genetic expression, DNA & RNA
development, neurotransmitter development.
• Vitamin B12/Cobalmin: eggs, organ meats, fish, grass fed meat.
Function: DNA backbone, synthesis and methylation of DNA, RBC
development, protein metabolism, neurotransmitter development and
nerve function.
• Eliminate alcohol, processed sugars/carbohydrates,

• 75 minutes of daily physical activity while sweating.
STRESS
• Eliminate, manage relationship, life, work, nutritional, lack of activity
